end of week one

The babies were tired this morning, but were happy to be outside. After bottles we had planned to throw a birthday party for all the August birthdays, but it ended up just being for the toddlers. We put party hats on some of the babies, but only the oldest kids were allowed the balloons and treats (apparantly ice cream is too cold for the younger toddlers). We were a bit dissapointed that the younger kids couldn't participate, but the older kids had a lot of fun. Then it was off to nap-time for the kids and to lunch for us.

After lunch all of our group except six of us went back to the hotel to get ready for the weekend trip. The six of us stayed and managed to get all 26 babies outside to the blankets and playground. Luckily an aid took the toddlers to play in the new pool, so there were a couple less to manage. The rest of us hung out in the playground and took turns going to watch toddlers in the pool which was really cute. The afternoon actually went faster than usual, and by four we had gotten them all diapered and in bed. It was fun because I got a chance to spend some time with the younger babies, especially my bug who fit perfectly in my bag and is ready to come home with me. Tomorrow we're having a free day and then Sunday the two of us might take a cab to the clinic for part of the day.
