Today was the first full day at the clinic for my new team! Yesterday we had orientation and visited the children. This team has five women and one man. Four of us are from the U.S., and two are from Canada. Today I floated between the two groups of children: mobiles and non-mobiles. We started off the day by meeting with Dr. Delia and touring the hospital. Little did I know who we would find in the pediatric ward: Denisa! Denisa went home about a month ago, and is now in the pediatric section of the hospital with her mother due to lost weight, and probably a cold. I am not sure if she will come back to the clinic, or if she will get better quickly and be able to go home. We had Nicoleta and Raul in the non-mobile room today, which was lots of fun! The mobiles were wild as always, but started their new routine of eating around the table and trying to feed themselves! In the afternoon I stayed with the non-mobiles, and the mobiles had preschool, then ran wild in the hall and played in some cribs.
