Day Twenty-Three

Jane stayed back sick this morning, so Michelle manned the mobile room alone. Jo An and I played and danced with the non-mobiles. Mihaela and Celine were “yogurt monsters” today, but the others were not as thrilled by the food. Mihaela fell asleep in the bouncer before naptime, which was cute. After lunch Michelle took Ioanna outside, and Malika took the rest into pre-school. Malika also gave massages to Andreea and Ema this afternoon, which they seemed to really enjoy. Ciprian came to visit and helped us with the babies, Ionela was especially happy to see him. I took Celine and Alina outside for a while, then Jo An took the two Andreeas. Celine loved being outside; this is the first time they’ve let us take her out. She loved seeing different sights and hearing the birds, but cried when we came in for diaper time. Alina liked having the sun on her face while she sat on top of the stroller for a ride, but she did not enjoy her hat. Celine’s leg has gotten much less swollen, but after a couple seconds in the swing, I realized that being fully upright probably wasn’t great for her foot, so I took her out. Alina liked the swing at first, but then got fussy, so we went back to walking around. Tonight we will be going out to dinner in Barlad, and possibly to the travel agent about this weekend.
