Quick Facts

*We have worked with 23 kids at the clinic so far (some in and out of the hospital)
*Daria Roxana left our first week for her cleft lip surgery; Ion left at the end of our first week for the hospital as he had a horrible cough and was having trouble breathing; Ionut returned from the hospital our second week; Victor arrived from a different Vaslui hospital our first week
*New babies since November: Denisa-Elena (2 months), Daria-Roxana (3 months), Roxana (3 months), Victor (2 months)
*Alina now weighs 12 pounds!!
*Ema's dad; Denisa's mom; Andreea and Roxana's mom, grandma, and brother; and Celine's mom and grandma have all visited
*There have been many different isolated groups in the last week, but currently it is Victor in Ionut in normal isolation, then Daniela, Andrei, Celina, and Alina in respiratory isolation
*It has been below 20 degrees and/or snowing/icy most of our trip making for interesting walks back and forth to the clinic. Long underwear is a must, even with the steamy temperatures inside the clinic.
*Internet just got turned on today (2/8), let's hope it lasts!

Sad news to report:
*Little Alexandra (at the clinic mostly over this past summer) passed away.
*Maria (dark curly hair) passed away. She had her heart surgery last spring, and it was successful, but then something happened more recently and she passed away.
