Yesterday: Day Nineteen

Today was a busy day. I was alone with the non-mobiles most of the day, which was pretty crazy at some points. Cristi worked on standing, little Andreea on rolling over, Ema on holding her head up, Gabriella on sitting, Celine talked, Alina worked on walking, big Andreea played with a toy, and Mihaela bounced backwards on bouncy seats. Bottle time was crazy, and many of the children did not like the orange puree snack later on. The mobiles went outside and played in the preschool room and big playroom. After lunch I played/roughhoused with Maiastra and Alexandra for a while, they have noth come so far since last Spring. Maiastra is now very social and loves to play, Alex is much happier and giggly, and they both walk (Alex with help). Then is was back to the babies for bottles and a little play time before going back to bed. I also walked with Sammy for a couple minutes, but he was too focused on pulling my hair for it to work well. We had dinner at the hotel, then went back to play with the kids some more. We brought all the big kids, and some of the little kids, into the big playroom. The biggest hit of the night was my fleece jacket. The kids loved trying it on, and just feeling the softness of it. We had to institute time outs though, because Ionella was hitting the other kids. I also visited the isolation room for a while. Marius is back! He won't have his heart surgery for about another six months, but Maria will be going into surgery next Monday. Celine is not able to wear her shoe brace at this point because her foot is so swollen and bruised. They were helping her be more comfortable by putting cold cloth diapers soaked in some mixture on it. I also held the other Maria for a little while. Then we went back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
