Day Three (3/3)

This morning after breakfast we met Dan and headed over to the clinic. We are now down to six non-mobiles because Alina and Lea-Celine left for the hospital. It was a fairly quiet morning, and most of the babies took a morning nap. During this time I went into the isolation room to sit with Maria Cleopatra. I held her in my lap for a while, then carried her around for a while. Then I went back to the non-mobiles to play for a while. The kids are a bit fussy because they have colds, but they were happier after their nap. I went back to the isolation room to hold Maria’s hand, but it’s sad because we have to wear gloves and masks in there so she doesn’t get much actual human touch. The nurse asked me to feed her a bottle, and she ate well. She ate very slowly, and kept spitting out the nipple, but she did it. Whenever she spit out the nipple I would try to put it back in, but she would clench her jaw, even though she wanted the food, so I would have to open it with my finer enough for the bottle to fit in.
Then we went back to the hotel for lunch and a break. We were very excited because the internet was finally on! I started uploading pictures, but then it was time to go back. We had decided to meet back at the clinic, so I walked over, and everyone else had apparently gone back early. The afternoon went quickly because we were allowed to go outside. I took out Marius and Gabriels; Marius loved it, but Gabby hated it. Now we are back resting until dinner. Then we will go over to the clinic for about an hour before coming back here.
